Why invest in Bookman Urban Visibility

  • • Bookman increased its revenue by more than 40 % in 2021 and expects to grow with 70 % in 2022. Bookman has historically had a positive operating profit or close, and expects increasing profitability with larger volumes.
  • • In order to increase growth and sales volumes Bookman intends to initiate new partnerships with additional distributors. This was successfully started in 2021 when new distributors were signed in UK, France, Spain, Benelux, Czech Republic and Switzerland. Bookman intends to sign with the leading US distributor within bike with more than 7000 resellers in North America.
  • • Bookman’s products are well suited for e-commerce and with an increased effort the last couple of years there has been strong growth and it now stands for about 20 % of the revenue and is expected to grow to 30 % in a few years. During 2022 Bookman will initiate a launch on Amazon in several markets.
  • • The brand has received several international awards for its products and design including German Design Award, ABC Award och European Product Design Award in 2021. The brand has made collaborations with brands like Craft Sportswear and Emporio Armani and has been featured in acclaimed media including Runners World, Wired, The Financial Times to name a few.
  • • The company is backed by Stefan Ytterborn, serial entrepreneur behind POC and CAKE, who also acts as one of the company’s advisors.
  • • The positioning of the brand has made it possible to sell via a wide array of retail segments which dramatically increases the market potential. The brand is today selling via the segments Bike, Sports/Outdoor, Pharmacy, Design/Fashion and Kids. By widening the product range the ambition is to increase sales in each store but also attract more retailers and larger chains within each segment.
  • The goal with this investment round is to increase the speed of product development, increase focus on online sales and increase the marketing budget to be able to take full advantage of the new distribution network.
  • Subscription for this equity crowd funding will be through a public holding company.
