Why invest in Suitopia

  • • 50 million new garments were produced during the year 2000. That figure was doubled to 2020 and accounted for 100 million. The majority of this is fast-fashion, resulting in over production, seasonal sales and textile waste. This is the exact opposite of how Suitopia works with fashion. We only manufacture what the customer wants and orders. Nothing more, nothing less. This means that we have minimal waste in parallel as we have zero stock inventory. In total, the fashion industry accounts for ~10% of global carbon dioxide emissions, which is more than all international flights and shipping trips combined, something that the average return rate of 20-30% contributes to. Suitopia's return rate is less than 5%.
  • • During the pandemic Suitopia has transformed the company from the bottom-up. Focus has been to increase both product quality and customer satisfaction. As a result, Suitopia now has a scalable production and logistics chain thanks to its own platform and has streamlined operations for increased efficiency. The result can be seen in a higher product quality and more satisfied customers, where the Trustpilot score has moved from 2.6 to 4.2.
  • • Norway and Sweden account for ~75% of total sales, while the US, UK and Germany are currently smaller markets, all with potential to become larger growth markets.
  • • The company has approximately 100,000 registered accounts. Among consumers the customer base consists of grooms, wedding guests and businessmen, while among companies cultural establishments such as theaters and operas, workplaces with a dress code, such as hotels and brokers all account for a part of the customer base. The client list includes Norrlandsoperan, Folketeatret and Den Norske Opera og Ballett.
  • • Revenue model generates a positive cash flow as the customer pre-pays order prior production while supplier invoices one month after production has been made.
  • • The capital injection will give the company the opportunity to establish the presence in their potential growth markets and in 2023 expand the organization with a customer success specialist and e-commerce manager. The company will also focus more on marketing and carry out a brand lift.
  • • From 2024 and onwards, the company wants to expand with a B2B sales department. This channel is currently only based on inbound leads, but where recurring customers already exist.
